When I’m stressed, need an indoor activity, or am just craving sweets, these are the recipes I turn to. They’re the superior recipes to the classic cookies and bars–don’t worry, I’ve taste tested myself. Cookies
THE BEST CHOCO CHIP COOKIES. EVER.
Starting off with the classic chocolate chip cookie. I know there are a thousand recipes claiming to be the best, but seriously, this is the best one. You have to let the dough chill for at least a day, but the flavor is so worth it. I’ve made these on countless occasions for anything from holiday get togethers to fueling my teammates after a game. No matter what they’re for, they never fail for endless compliments and declarations that they are, in fact, the best chocolate chip cookies.

M&M COOKIES
M&Ms are by far my favorite candy, and them in cookies is *chef’s kiss*. Handle the Heat by far has the best baking recipes (I would entrust her with my baking soul) and this recipe is no exception. You can even change the type of M&M you use if you want a holiday theme or just love the peanut butter ones (like me).

MACARONS
This beautiful French treat usually get written off as too hard to try, but don’t let them scare you! My biggest piece of advise that I can give you is to stick to the instructions and read every step carefully. And when you get them right, your friends and family won’t be able to get enough of them!

Another staple. They’re basically chocolate chip cookies but in bar form–what more can you want? (Note that this is also a Handle the Heat hehe)

FUDGY BROWNIES
After going on a trip to the mountains with my mom, I’ve been determined to recreate the most fudgy, gooey brownie we had while there. This is the closest recipe I’ve found: it has tons of semi sweet chocolate chip chunks, the classic crispy top, and, of course, a dense, gooey inside. Have I mentioned their gooey perfection??
